Default Trans Mount Replacement

I know the "right" way to replace the trans mount is to drop the transaxle, but is there anyway it can be done without dropping it ? Has anyone done it by supporting the transaxle with a jack and changing the mount in-place ? I'm trying to save a little time if possible. If it's not possible, I'll wait until I do the clutch and have it all apart anyway...

It cant be done because there are 4 bolts that go through the cross brace that supports the tranny. They are accessible from the top only. I suppose you could support the tranny, drop it a little without taking the cvs out, somehow get a ratchet to fit in the gap that was created by lowering it, undo those 4, undo the 2 holding it onto the tranny, then take it out. The tranny will drop a little even if its still connected to the torque tube. Try that, not sure if it will work though.
