Default O2 sensor rusted to downpipe, help...

This weekend I forgot to post that I had a problem regarding my O2 sensor rusted to my downpipe. I attempted to remove and break the rust as best as I can using PB blaster penetrant and as much leverage as I can get from underneath the car on my back and shoulders (still feeling the pain from laying like that for almost an hour working at the stupid thing)

Unfortunately, the O2 sensor is partially stripped and I still couldn't get it to break loose. Has anyone encountered this problem on their cars? Mine is from back east and naturally, salt can do that to the undercarriage to your car. Would I have to head the pipe and sensor up with a blow torch? (oh and yes I did run my car till my exhaust got hot)

I also have an alternative to use the downpipe and cat from my previous 84 but I'm not sure if that catalytic converter is still good though...

I ended up going to a muffler shop. Had them put it up on the lift, and using a pipe wrench and a breaker bar, we were able to get it to bust loose. Cost ,,,tipped the guy 20.00. I could not get ANY leverage from under the car up on ramps. Also had them get my rear end fill plug out. That involved welding a coupling in it.....Damn PO's....

My friend who fixes my car and has his own Porsche shop said he'll check it out for me next week...
