Default Help! 924S rear Camber Alignment Issues

I recently took my '88 924S for an alignment as I had added larger sway bars, Bilsteins, and lowered the rear using the eccentric bolt. The shop I took it to said they couldn't get the - 1.0-1.5 deg. I asked for in the back, the best they could do was -2.3 on one and -1.5 on the other and no less!!!??? What gives? They said and I confirmed that nothing is bent or broken. Any advice? Thanks for your reply!

Well, certainly the rear height adjustment affects the camber setting, and a little bit vice versa - may take a few go-arounds to get it right. Also, I do hope they have the P221 tool for setting rear toe at the same time as camber? Otherwise it'd be no surprise that they're having trouble, you'd be as well off DIY'ing. It's all too interrelated to not consider all 3 settings (height, camber, and toe) all at once. I often have trouble dialing in the settings I want until I fiddle with it a few times. My car's currently at about 5.25" at the rear rockers.

Did they know what bolts to turn? I took my car to an alignment shop just few weeks ago and they were unable to adjust the rear... later on I realized they'd been messing around with the height adjustment, not the actual toe/camber adjustments... took the car back in today and pointed out the correct bolts, voilá, everything went just fine.
