OH yea, I would like to meet up with all you guys from cleveland area sometime. Maybe at night say after 5 or 6 for dinner and a little "show off" the cars. That way if anyone has a problem or what not, we have others to turn to within driving distance. I am free this Friday night if anyone is interested in meet up, let me know here or e-mail me Michael_Radak@Hotmail.com

Manning here, down in Akron also. Hey Mike, I keep meaning to stop in some morning at Einsteins to introduce myself, but I am always running late for work. I'll try and pop in next time I see your car there.

Fridays are usually kind of bad for me since I only get to see my fiance on the weekends. She travels for work during the week.

Tony, try not to disparage my car when you see it. Not Mickey Mouse, but it does need some work. It looks pretty knackered since I have the interior door panels off (project under way).

OH yea, I only work there at Einstein's Mondays and Tuesday 4am - 2 pm for the summer, I started my summer job so I work that the other days. But I am there, mon and tues. If you see the car outside and don't see me inside, just ask me for, I might be in the back doing other work.

I won't disparage your car! My 83 LOOKED like hell with peeling clearcoat and florida sun dashboard, but everything that wasn't purely cosmetic was in good order; I respect someone who will pay attention first to see that the brakes, suspension, electrics, fluids, etc., etc. are all in good order before blowing money on questionable "improvements" without evaluating the car in its proper state first. If you are making it better, then !

If you haven't PM'd or emailed me yet, do so.

Cheers,

Mike and anyone interested: my AIM is
AudiA4drvr4life (course its not true....but it might be true)

to tony: calm down...I dunno what I said before, but when I was talking about mods, I was talking about either the project car (the brakes and suspension must be replaced and why not go w/ after market?), or after I get the 944 its self. Its not that I don't like what the stock package comes with, its just that I feel that part of me being an active entusiast whether it audi/porsche/vw or whatever...I think that modifying, changing, and making your car unique is one of the joys of ownership...when i sad 'mod' don't think i'm some punk with a honda buying altezzas and a fart cannon...I see modifications as something that actually has a purpose, like a good cross drilled brake set, or coil overs, or a ECU chip modification...'mods' are something that I find have great purpose....

I'm just cruising in the audi...w/ my gay *** check engine light that will never go off... (*Fuel mixture malfunction (its because of the airbox being removed...it won't shut up i swear to god...)) but it should die once i get it cleared next b/c of the MAF mod i just did...but n e ways...i'm free the whole weekend to go 944 hunting.

for local people my cell is: 1-440-479-0213 please don't call me until thursday the 10th...I have finals and I will kill whoever calls me...and their car...so don't call me

I thought mods where guys with thin ties who rode around on vespas.

(yeah I've used that line before, so what)

Disconnecting the battery doesn't clear the fault light?

If you all can do the Quaker Steak and Lube thing Saturday I might be able to convince Karen to go/let me go. Her folks live about 2 miles from there in Independence.
