Default What To Do With My Car

So last weekend my engine died, spun a bearing, and on Saturday I bought an 89 Audi 90 quattro, so I now need to get rid off my car. I'd like to sell it whole, but I don't think I'll be able to get enough money for it. Here are the details:
The engine ran great until the pan gasket blew out and the bearing went bad. It has a new alternator, belts w/ like 3K on them, waterpump, and some other things.
The tranny and clutch seemed good, and it has all new front suspension. Struts, control arms, motor mounts, tie rods, etc.
The interior is in great shape. Cracked dash, but thats about it.
The body is OK, not great. There are some dings and scratches here and there, and the lower valance is black, as I replaced it and haven't painted it yet.

So, what does everyone think I could get if i sold it as is?
My other option is to part it out, anyone know what I could make from doing that?

I need to act relatively quickly, as my parents are kinda pissed I've got 2 cars in the driveway now, but I can't really afford to not get the most money I can for this. I really wish I could keep it and fix it, but thats just not gonna happen.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Conor

You are probably going to loose your a$$ on selling it broke. I recommend just ebaying it to the highest bidder if your parents want it gone quick.

Any non-running 924S/944 with a dead engine is $500. Ebay would be best. Parting it out could get you more than $500 for it, but will take time and lots of wrenching. Still no gaurantee you'll get over $500 for the parts. Salvage yard could take what's left and give you some chump change. Or see about a specific Porsche dismantler.

Ebay is your best bet. Our cars seem to have more value there.

Good luck.

I think it looks like a good car to use as a 5 speed swap for my car.
