Tools needed to remove/replace door
The procedure for removing the door seems simple enough but Im not sure what tool/size I need to remove the check strap from the body. Any other info/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

The door stay bolts are 12 points allens get a good set that won't round off ,Sears has them.
Clean the bolt hole first and seat the socket in with a hammer before turning them, they've been known to round the bolt if you don't.
I would also give some penetrating oil some time to work before loosening them, they have been known to corrode and break the weld on the nut inside the body and then it just turns and is a real PITA after that. Guess how I know?
EDIT: After looking at mine, I would just remove the 6pt. allen bolt that attaches the strap to the body mount and not mess with the door stay mount
