Was honored to be selected for the “75 Years of Porsche Cars in Color” historic display at Rennsport Reunion VII at WeatherTech Raceway, Laguna Seca. What an event! Was quite surprised that they selected my Alpine White 944 S2. My car and a 928 S4 where they only two transaxle cars in a sea of 911s and 356s of course, but that just made us stand out more.

 

I saw your S2 in the special display section and it looked really nice ... very clean. There was supposed to be a 968 there, too, but the owner backed out and so did the owner of the backup 968. I can't say for certain but I assume the same thing happened with the 924 (they'd have to invite one to the party, right?). It's understandable, logistically speaking, since you have to leave your car there for four straight days.
