Default A bonus to rennlisters who help me sell the 951....

Well my car is finaly ready to be sold, it was having an electrical issue that caused the car to cut out, after having a short or two in the harness fixed the car is now up and running and ready to be delivered or picked up by any potential buyer.

So anyway, I have an offer to all you rennlisters and lurkers, if you help me sell the car, ie find a buyer I'll give current members $500 dollars, and if you are not a member and help me sell the car I'll buy you a two year membership and then you get the remaining portion of the money (420 Dollars IIRC)......

Price: $16,500 Dollars, or $16,000 for a rennlister (500 dollar discount from above).....

Also I'm willing to accept a partial trade on a stock 86 951, or a the right 944/24.....

If you need details, they are in the link in my signature, or I can be called at 919-889-5777 or reached via email at ian_klass@yahoo.com

TIA

Ian, you have a very nice car and I hope you get what you're asking.

My suggestion would be to change the pic for one with a more "neutral" background than that "P-car hospital."

This is running a lot more boost than I do and or would, but this is the upper limit of what this turbo will push....

I'm fairly confident that this set up at 16psi would be around 340 whp......

nice incentive to help us sell it for ya man! But the question must be asked.....

If a rennlist member helps you sell it (lets say, oh, me) you would give me $500, right? Now, say I win the lottery, and no one helps you sell the car, but I talk myself into it...would I still get the $500??

ian...

How many miles are on the car as a whole, and how many are on the car since the work? Do you have any interior pics?

Ok the mileage breakdown from lowest to hightest....

Zero miles on: Ball Joints, Tie rods, Hub repack, three struts rebuilt and one replaced (so like new), head gasket, vac lines, electrical work, oil change. Alignment and Exhaust.

Less then 5000 miles on: Vitesse Racing Stage II Turbo, MAF, Piggyback, Injectors, FPR, chips.

Less than 10,000 on: Waterpump, Timing Belt (as mentioned above freshly retensioned)

Less than 25,000 on Rod Bearings

Head was rebuilt in the not so distant past (and while I had it off very recently I inspected it and everything was in good shape)

The block / chasis are at 195k or so, but all the wear items have been replaced and the car is running strong.

Geez! Everytime I see this car (and moreover, see the power it makes) I wish I had the dough... why are you selling, Ian??

O yeah and less than 5000 on the Aluminum torque tube.....

Why am I selling?

Well for a few reasons, I'm hopefully going back to graduate school this fall and can't justify owning two cars while I do so, and although I think the car is reliable it is a bit too modified to be a good daily driver (for me).

Also my father is selling his 1992 C2 Turbo in the not so distant future, and he is going to sell it too his son at a slight discount because I help him with his brokerage accounts for free. So the hope is at the end of graduate school in 2006 I'll be able to buy his car.

But I don't plan on being out of the 951 game for long, I plan on getting a stock 86 as a daily driver, I enjoyed my first 951 while I daily drove it and would like to do that again.
