Congratulations on the repair!
And a fair lesson on the downfalls of replacing parts without proper diagnosis first.
It's just not a good strategy...

Indeed - a big lesson!
Also a good reminder that new/correct parts should also be checked & verified - not taken as gospel they are good.

If anyone with a turbo car needs a set of barely used injectors I do have a set going very cheap

Very interesting and glad you got it sorted! I'm having similar symptoms, with 23 pound/hour injectors from a 3.2L Carrera, vs the 19 pound/hour stock ones. Once I get the TPS cleaned out and idle stabilized, I'll report back if the oxygen sensor on mine will allow the DME to reduce pulse width at idle enough for smooth operation.
