For the first time since I owned the car, it stumbled after start-up this morning. I started it like normal, and it went to it's usual 1,000 rpm cold-start rate. Then, it felt like the car was going to stall out for a second...but then it went back to normal.
Could that be a problem waiting in the wings??

I have a similar porblem when the car is warm. I have a craked bov that will be changed this mounth.I'll inform if there is any change.Another thing after the car stmbles if the engine stops it doesn't start again even if i crank it until the batery dies.Strange thing is that if I electric power my batery form some other car with two electric wires it starts.I changed the batery and I have the same problem. When runing the alternator seems to work fine it provides 14v

Hi !
I've been trying to fix that problem for a while...
I've change the - Idle control valve (engine no more stall)
- motor mount
- throtle body cleaner
etc...
Recently saw on http://www.clarks-garage.com/ that it is
the AFM that is worn out, he explain how to fix it for free
if it's not too damaged... It's a surface contact that get's
worn and make a bad contact.
I tried to fix it, it helped, I saw a difference but it's gone too
far and I will replace it next summer...
I just hate that it is so annoying.
New vacuum line is on my list too.
