Default 1st time my car breaks down on the road

Well, just 20 min ago my car broke down on the road...1st time where it wasnt a blatant mistake made by me. The hose between the heater valve and the pipe deciding to give itself a 3 inch incision. Good thing theres plenty of slack...so i cut the bad part off..and used the remaining 2 inches to connect it. Looks like im going to the local dealer tomorrow for a new hose.

Just a reminder...always keep tools in your car!

I figured you would have that "magic tape" left over from the emergency repairs to Brad's car! Glad to see you got back on the road all right.

i blew a coolant hose on my 9000 turbo once and designed a new hose pattern for the throttle body--right there on the side of the road.

drove to the next gas station and stole water from bathroom. been running like a champ since!

always keep spare tools, electrical tape, and some ingenuity with you at all times when driving an old (especially european) car.
