READ THE LAST POST FOR THE FULL DESCRIPTION: (7TH POST ON P.2)
The Audi must go soon. It's a pearl white 200 Quattro Turbo in great condition (1 owner). It's got all the options and light gray leather. The paint is very good - a few scratches and one small dent under the rear tail light. The car is in New hampshire and the shop wants around $2200 for a brake rotor in the back and a power steering rack and some new rubber brake lines. Yes, this is the 20V turbo inline 5 with a 5 speed. 0-60 in C&D was recorded as 6.3s. The car is a true sleeper. It's a very fun car and only 200 were imported to the united states.
CHECK HERE FOR THE SPECS:

Please let me know if you're interested. It's in Bedford New Hampshire now, and I can get you in contact with my dad if you want to see it.

Price, I might be interested in driving down and picking it up if it is cheap enough.

looks kinda like a bitter.....but not as nice.....bitter....now THAT is a sleeper car! They had one at the dealership i got the 951 from...sad to say, it was a TOUGH choice! That thing drove like no other, handled great, and accelerated like a bat out of hell...it was the 2nd one imported here to the states, one of the 40 imported here in 1986....four reasons why I went with the 951:
1) 2 grand cheaper
2) Better on gas
3) A little nicer looking
4) It was a PORSCHE!!!!
they also had an 86 (I think) maserati...which was like, the second fastest car I have ever driven (after a GT2)

Okay, he's asking "best offer" now- enough to cut the costs. Make an offer and he'll be interested
I talked with him last night and it needs
1. brake lines
2. rear rotor
3. power steering rack
4. front struts
I'm not going to say it's the best car ever, but if you work on the car yourself, it's a great car and very reliable - it's just showing its age with rubber hoses cracking and that stuff.
Just PM me if you want me to make an offer to him and I'll see what I can do. he basically just wants to get rid of it soon, so speak up.

Mileage?
Maintenance records?
I had an '89 200 Turbo Quattro. Great car. Sorta soft in the corners and the turbo lag was a problem as the car is somewhat heavy. But on the autobahn (I bought the US spec car in Germany and brought back to the US in '94) it was a monster. It would cruise at 140+ all day long. Once I returned to the states the car no longer made sense. You just can't use it the way it was intended. It was also difficult to find a mechanic who knew anything about the car.
Having said that, if I could find one - or an Audi V8 - with relatively low miles with a solid maintenance record, I would seriously think about buying it.
Warning for anyone in a hot climate - the AC was not particularly effective.

I believe it's around 130000. It was bought in Chicago in 1992, then we moved to Tennessee (no salt or snow) from 1994-1999 and it's been in New Hampshire since 1999. The clutch is strong, and my dad drives like a little old lady (sort of depressing in a car like that). He has most maintenance records I believe. The only main things replaced were the ECU (last year), the brakes (a few sets), and the power steering pump (3 years ago). It's a well maintaned engine and runs beautifully.
