Arcing Ignition Wires
So I've been having a little idle problem with my 944. One of the suggestions was that it may be the spark plug wires so I should spray them with mist and see if I get a "light show."
Well I was expecting that arcing ignition wires would show me big sparks jumping across the wires. But when I sprayed them with mist, I saw tiny, little sparklies around the distributer cap and at the 2 spark plugs closest to me.
Before I drop $140 on wires, I wanted to confirm with you experts that I shouldn't see those points of light?
And then the more important question: If I do get new wires, do I get red ones to match the car's paint job, yellow or blue to accent it, or black to remain close to stock? Thanks for everyone's input.

There shouldn't be any arcing from the wires or cap.
I just bumped up a thread titled "$140 for what?"
Threr's a link in there for some Magnacore wires around $60, I have a problem with $140 plug wires too.
