Default Whats the best workshop manual on CD ??

What are the options for CD workshop manuals ???

I've seen some on ebay etc... but those are probably just scanned in.

I would like a proper formated type of manual.

Are these available through the factory ???

I'm sure that there are people here that have all sorts of different things.

Thanks again for any input

Don

A properly formatted legal copy of the factory manuals is not available on CD.

The factory manuals are available in print for just less than $850. Yeah, I know... I'll hold my breath waiting for all the calls...

Isn't there a way to get the ones that they would use in the dealerships ???

Either Legal or " Other "

Don, its best not to ask that question, there was a sticky thread about this a few weeks ago.

Heres sort of a related question, is the program that the part dealers have for partnumbers available for purchase? It basically offers exploded views of stuff like the cooling system, camshaft assembly...etc. Simialr to the exploded views in the Peformance Products cataloug, just with Porsche part #'s. Could be helpful to have.

That's PET, and that's unobtanium as well.

OK,
I didn't know what degree that that stuff was copyrighted.

I'm no foreign person to stuff like that. I've been a high end Xerox tech for sometime. we have to pay $7,000.00 just for the software that runs on the machine. The books that the techs carry cost $700 for a set.

oh, thats for the 15 foot long digital printers.
