New to me 87 944
I've been a VAG fan for years - 32 VWs (from a 57 Beetle that I still own to a 2013 Passat TDI), 2 Audis and now two Porsches. 944 and 928 have always been my favorites and after picking up a diesel Cayenne (6th TDI), I started looking again. Found a real clean 87 with 83 k miles. California until 2020, then Nevada until last month. $14k in receipts from the last owner (3 years and less than 2k miles). Brakes/rotors/parking brake, Clutch, AC, floormats, P6000 tires, hood insulation, power steering hoses, fuel lines (tank dropped), aligning the centercaps with the valve stems... list goes on and on. It's super clean - hood was resprayed at some point (used to have a bra on it), but was done well. All original paint otherwise and mint interior. Last receipt for timing belt was 4k miles ago, but in 2001. The very short term owner (2019-2020) said the timing belt was done in 2020 but there are no receipts in the huge book of everything from new. Window sticker, owners manuals, repair manual too. I ordered a timing kit, spark plugs, fuel filter and a LED/H4 conversion from only944 (installed it yesterday).

the instructions didn’t show installing the rubber boots back on the lights, but they can easily be installed by separating the bulb base from the bulb. Install the base, then the rubber boot and insert the bulb back into the base.
I haven’t actually driven it at night though 😜
