Yes it does, and autocross too, try to get it in writing!
It's only right that you shelter your wrench's truck, he kept a roof over the last S2, didn't he?

i dont think it would cover autocross since there is a clock and points involved. but at a DE there is no clock, and it is a club activity, just like a concours.

What's a matter Tom: afraid of a little competition?

Some insurance companies treat autox as a car-control activity, while others consider it a race.

If the course is layed out properly, and you use your head, you can put down fast runs and not worry about hurting anything.

Z,
Im not worried about damaging it at an autocross. just relaying what the nice lady on the phone told me. she said no races, but they encourage club activity. i dont have the policy to read, just thought it funny that since a DE has no clocks it is not a race......

i have extra wheels for the camaro so i will probably continue to autocross that, and try to take the S2 to a DE this summer. When is NJs novice day? I got a dirty look when I told Jill i bought a sunroof bag, so i dont think it is wise right now to buy another extinguisher mount.

Hey Tom...does that insurance limit you to weekend-only driving, or what?

each licensed driver in the household must have another car. you choose the mileage limit 1,000 or 3,000, limits on insurance cannot exceed the limits on your regular policy, and the loss value of the car is the value you choose.

she said no shopping or errands, etc. same as the JC Taylor policy i currently have on the firebird.

the general term is hobby insurance i think.

try hagerty's site or taylors they have the basic rules listed. thats why im keeping the mullet.

I guess driving to work or to Walmart is out then? Pass. Good thing is the agreed value, so no fighting with the insurance company if something happens!

If I was still taking the train to work, and never using the Porsche, I would go for that insurance though.
