Default 2003 986 A/C issue

My A/C has stopped blowing cold air but is fully charged and the low pressure pipe is very cold! When I run the A/C there is a puddle of water under the dash area where the evaporator drain tube sits. Pulled off the kick panel on the passenger side and found a “lever arm” connected to a very colorful magenta control arm which had become disconnected. A black plug on the arm at the opposite end from where it connects to the magenta lever has fallen out of its location and does not seem to lock back in properly. Is this a replaceable unit?? Appears it is somehow connected to the temp control system. When I adjust the A/C temp up or down this magenta lever moves.

This plug was not attached anywhere and was hanging by the plastic arm.

Looks like this is the hole it should be in.

I think this is how it fits together but does not snap snugly back into the hole.

you probably meant the boxster forum, not the 944 forum.
