A/C Recharge question
Hi all. I have a quick question Id like to verify.
Ive done recharges on other cars but not my early 85 944. Low pressure side is where is says "IN" above reciver, correct? or is it on the compessor?
Dumb question I know, but ive seen stranger things on german cars.

On the compressor on my 83. Good luck getting a hose on the fitting. Someone posted a part number of a NAPA belt that's a little shorter and will allow you to tension the compressor with it in a lower position so that it can be charged without interference from the alternator mounting ear. I can find that if you need it.

The low side is the fatter of the two lines that run down the strut tower. On your compressor the low side will be marked with an "S" for suction and the high side will be marked with a "D" for discharge.
