Default old Lindsey Racing 944 tubular arms - initial installed length?

Hey all, I just bought a set of the old tubular steel Lindsey Racing control arms from a buddy of mine with an '89 944 Turbo (he had some Racers Edge arms on deck to replace them), the rod ends (including the gigantic rod end used as a ball joint) are a little bit crusty looking though so I'm going to replace them prior to installing. Since I'm going to have everything apart (and he had disassembled one of the arms prior to my picking them up from him anyway), I'd like to have an idea of what length to set the rod end/ball joints at for initial install. I know it can be a bit tough to determine some times, but is there a known "inner front bushing to ball joint" length for the stock late offset arms that I could use as a starting point?

Best guess, kind of eyeballing it with a stock control arm and a tape measure, is about 14-1/8 to 14-3/16 inches, center of the ball joint to the center of the front bushing.
Go longer if you want a little more negative camber.

I would strongly advise against using these arms. They are known to fail at the welds.

This is the first I've heard of those arms having failures, although if I'm honest, finding any information about those arms at all has been a major challenge.

They were originally offered by Kokeln. When Kokeln shut down, Lindsey Racing acquired some of their products which included the arms. My understanding is that the Lindsey Racing tubular arm is identical to the Kokeln arm and was manufactured by the same outfit.

There is an old thread (~15 years ago?) on here documenting a failure of a Kokeln arm. I know of failures of the Lindsey Racing arms. I can go into detail over a PM, but essentially the arms are just poorly made.

In the interest of clarity, Lindsey Racing no longer offers these arms and instead I think offers arms from Racer's Edge.
