Thanks Bloodraven. Even I was a little shocked how well it polished up. I can't wait to see the intake. I went with clear anodizing on the cam tower and will with the intake too. Unlike the wheels, I think it would be just too much to try to polish those every week! I'll sacrifice a litle bling on these parts. Also, I let him polish "off" a few details to get a smoother look, etc. Some p/n's - but I wrote them down, of course!

Wow those all look really nice!
On the tires - What i think you are referring to is the rim guard. It's common on newer tires in an atempt to protect the rim of the wheel from curb rash. I really hate the look of that, but you only notice it when you are really up close anyways.
Anyway, it looks great and i can't wait to paint my turbo phone dials and get them on my car!
Nice Work!

Erich, Yeah I know about the rim protectors but I'm talking about the little ridges or lines raised on the sidewalls for God knows what reason! Not to mention the Flipper designs. I bought these from Tirerack and had te mdrop shipped to Al Reed Polishing. But foolishly I never looked closely at the sidewall details. Oh well, live and learn. As I said, they handle great.

How are his rates (you don't have to post what you paid, just a rough idea of what I'd have to spend would be fine). Thanks.

Dan,
I got your PM but your mailbox is full, so here's my response:
Cool. Thanks very much for the information. I'll give him a call when I get a couple of other things cleared up - those rims and tower look hella nice! Heck, I might just have him polish the whole block and anything else aluminum on the car!!!
Probably won't be for a while, but I'll post some pics when done.

1) Kumho must have changed the sidewall design, they did not used to look like that (at least not in the sizes I have used).
2) Polished wheels belong on Ford pickups. Sorry, just not my cup of tea :>)
3) Cam tower looks very nice.
