Default Sunroof limit switch help...

My sunroof has never worked perfectly. Very tempormental switch (which has actually not been giving me any problems latley). The roof never moves into the correct position to lock (need to do it manually). Also the roof has never gone to its max tilt height. I noticed this at Hershey where most of the cars had the roofs tilted much higher than mine. Anyways i took the rear carpetting off and found that the two limit switches werent attached to anything. I also found a bracket, nut and screw..but im not sure how to reconnect everything correctly.

Ive tried looking for diagrams, but cant seem to find anything. Can anyone give me an idea as to how this goes back together?

This might help a little
Clark's Garage
I've got the early style sunroof, so I'm no help as to where the bracket and bolt go.

Yea, i checked the articles on ClarksGarage and on Pelican, both had alot of information but none really had any detail about how everything is assembled. Its really not that big of a deal to fix, as everything still works. But it would be nice to get the roof to tilt a little more. I basically just need a picture of everything assembled.

These might help with where the switches go. Found them on eBay. eBay seems to have pictures of everything.

Hi Duck (dangerous name in my language)
The connection s are on the yellow sticker of your own photo.
Color coding:
Switch #1
gr/sw is gray / black
sw/rt is black / read
Switch #2
sw = black
gn/rt is green / red
Switch #3
ge is yellow
ge/sw id yellow / black.

Check the switch first with an ohm meter: these switches are generic and the contacts may have a different position or number than shown on your sticker.
Takecare
