I am seeking a S2 tacho after converting my vehicle from auto to manual.
Decided I cant live with the illuminated gear positions in the face of the gauge.
Anyone help

You might be able to just replace the face of the tach with one from a manual car. Otherwise you're likely going to have to buy the entire cluster.
There were a couple posts recently from people with tach issues. If they bought a replacement gauge, maybe they would sell you the face from the broken one.

Thats good thinking ...just the face would suffice as the tach works fine.
Anyone have a spare black face for tach on a manual S2
