Default Open throttle on start

Hi, i've just finished up a torque tube rebuild, clutch and motor mount replacement on my 89 S2 over winter. When everything was done , I started the car and the engine revved up to 7000rpm and wouldnt come down. Throttle cable is not stuck and operated smoothly. How could it be revving so high without the throttle body opening up? Any ideas as to what could cause this?

Just figured it out lol. The grommet around the throttle cable through the firewall had popped out when I jacked the engine up for the mounts. Was creating a tension on the cable and kept the throttle body from closing.
