924 vs 944 wiper position
It looks like the wipers on the 924S sit much lower on the windshield, and more underneath the hood than the late model 944. Not sure how the early 944 compares but does anyone have any info on this? I always thought that the 944 wipers were kinda high and moved a bit at higher speeds. Can this be changed with different wiper arms?

Three Wheelin'
The 944 is a late dash model with a flush mounted windscreen. The 924S is like the early 944 (early dash) and has the earlier recessed (for want of a better word) windscreen. I'm not sure if the 924 wiper postion is transferrable to the 944. i wouldn't think so because of the different HVAC stuff in there.

I finally got around to measuring them today and the wiper motor stems appear to be in the same position on both cars but the wiper arms are certainly different. The differences look to be in both the arm length going away from the stem as well as the size of the sqwiggle in the arm itself. I swapped out the drivers side arms and it seemed fine.

Burning Brakes
Higher wiper arms only on 89-91 models. Wonder why the change, maybe a regulation in some country or other about how much window can be left unwiped by the A pillar. The older ones definitely look better when parked.
