you dont have to take4 anything off but the under body, which i don't beleive you have iirc.
get under there, on the drivers side, and on the back of the fan shroud, up top, there is a thing with a plug connected to it. Do you know what it looks like? just reach up there with your open end wrench and go for it. easy, 5-10 minute job.

Yours must be different than mine, there's no way I could have removed it with an open end since theres no where to turn the wrench. A deep (3") socket or a standard socket with a short (1-2") extension. I didn't try to access it from the bottom as it looked to be the same job from either end. To get it from the top I had to remove the airbox, AFM and intake boot, I probably could have pushed aside the hose that runs to the coolant overflow tank but I decided to remove it to make things easier. You will have to drain the cooling system of course, it will empty itself otherwise when you remove the thermoswitch.

Just did mine 2 days ago.
Pull the fan assembly. It will be MUCH easier. The fans only have 6 screws holding them in. The whole thing comes out as a single unit.
Then you can use anything (30mm) I used vice grips to get the sender out.
I had upgraded my fans before, so I had some previous experience on the ease of removal.
oops MY BAD>>>I JUST READ YOUR SIG LINE YEAR/MODEL.... 951 MIGHT BE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.......SORRY
