Default What to do with removed air bag module?

I just took the airbag module outr of the nucracked dash that will go into the 951. My question is what should I do with the airbag module? Now once I change out the dash and steering wheel I will have two mor of these things. I am kind of nervous about the something like this just sitting around in my garage. Now there is a samll explosive charge in these things right? I did a search but didn't come up with anything.

Yep they're explosive. If nothing else put a wire between both terminals on it so you won't potentially have static buildup initiate it.

Were it me I'd take it out in the middle of nowhere and set it off or something "for safety" of course. (might as well have a little fun with it though) just be careful and use long wires, etc, as you don't want it going off at the wrong time.
