Question Small Power Steering Fluid Leak

My car (1986 944 NA) seems to have a small power steering fluid leak. I have not done a full inspection, but I would bet money that it is coming from the pump. My schedule is pretty busy for the next couple of weeks and I cannot be without my car, so my question is: is it safe to simply refill the leaking fluid for a few weeks or can leaving a leaking pump to get worse be a horrible idea?

The leak does not appear to fall on anything major, just goes straight to the ground after splashing on the frame a bit.

Thanks

PS leaks are vary common on these cars. My S has been leaking since I have owned it.

The only real problem it will cause is to the sway bar bushings. After a while they will swell and fall apart.

Yeah I've noticed its been hitting that sway bar. Has anyone considered creating some sort of plastic shield for the bar?

If you inspect it and it is coming from the pump halves it is an easy fix. You can do in in a few hours.
Just reseal the pump and your good to go. We have the pump seal kits (www.rennbay.com). Just look in the power steering section. They are $18

Just top it off and drive it for now. You will want to fix it as it will soak and ruin the sway bar bushings and the castor block over time. None of that rubber stuff likes to be bathed in PS fluid.
