Default Clicking under the passenger side of the dash

Hi,
Hope your driving season is getting going.

When starting my MY88 NA 5-speed there is a clicking under the passenger side of the dash for a minute or so and then stops. It sounds like a relay yet do not see any in the area.

I have had family members help to isolate this but no luck.

Not sure this matters--this vehicle has the alarm (does not appear related to that but not sure) and mobile phone wire running along the right-side of the rear seat and up the side panel behind the rear side glass and the hatch

Thanks in advance.

I would suspect that it's the alarm. Probably cycling a relay for the horn. Check under the floor board of the passenger footwell. There is often a box next to the DME that contains the alarm. Just take the area apart and see if that is indeed what's clicking.

I believe its commonly caused by a shot/issue with the solenoid for the HVAC under the glove box area:

Solenoid for heating valve I believe (which you should be able to see somewhat from the passenger footwell looking up under the glove box area):
