Default I need an easy win. DME & KLR mounting

So... I’m putting in my replacement computer from Focus 9 (thanks, Joe). This, along with a new DME Relay should (hopefully) fix my no-start. Secretly... I’m a bit anxious.

So I need an easy win. How the #@%& do the DME and KLR _properly_ mount? Lots of holes. Lots of ways they could _almost_ line up.

Searching the web, I’ve gotten at least three different answers (my manuals have been no help).

Pelican Parts shows one alignment. Lindsey shows two different ones. Per below:

Both mounted level and straight? (Lindsey). Alarm unit not attached to bracket. Which may explain why I couldn’t get this configuration to sit correctly when I had the alarm unit attached to the bracket.

Pelican. Mounted higher and maybe crooked?

Surely this angle isn’t correct? Photo from Lindsey. That’s just sloppy.

Hardly an earth shattering problem... But it’s annoying me.

What would really be helpful would be a picture of the back side that shows where all the holes and brackets line up...😀

Here's a picture I got from another RL member when I had the same question. Looks like your bottom picture may be correct. I can't confirm as I haven't put mine back together
