Ok, lemme chime in a little:
I spend more time in the OT forums over at PP than in the 944 boards, because the OT forums really need moderating! (Lately, it's been "See how much we can get away with before Z-man shuts it down" which becomes very tiring: just look at the Random pictures thread and note how many times I've had to write: "Edited for content.")

There are young ones on both this 944 forum and the PP 944 forums. For every 924 twin turbo owner here, there's a similar bone head on Pelican. Generally speaking, the content is similar on both. However, as stated, the Rennlist 944 boards seem to have more activity due to more 944 owners being here. (Similarly, the Pelican 911 boards are busier than here)

Oh, and I think the $18 membership is well worth it: you get a lot more than this forum: I have my own website here, and a photo gallery at my disposal!

So that's my $0.42,
-Zoltan.

I disagree with Matt H about this being very social.

Compared to the 300ZX board maybe but not compared to the Turbo board. The "big" board is full of trash, so much so that actual questions get thrown 3-4 pages deep here in a day.

Z-Man, can you PM me my Pelican info? Cant find it anywhere, think my username is 350HP951

I think the "problem" with the main 924/944/968 board here on Rennlist is that it's HUGE! To please everyone, we would need:

1. General 924/944/968 Board - The Cars/The People
2. Technical 924/944/968 Board
3. Off-Topic 924/944/968 Board
4. 924
5. 944/S/S2
6. 951
7. 968

But you can't please everybody, and that would be far too many boards! Maybe an OT 924/944/968 might work though...

Matt: my powers as a moderator are limited. You need to contact Wayne or Dave or Jared at Pelican Parts to get ID information. (Or if you want me to, I can follow up for you - just say the word) I did find an ID: 350HP951, so you can log on as 350HP951 and click on the 'forgot your password' link and it will email you the information.

HTH,

i dunno about 924.944.968 forum being "BIG". i've been active member over the vwvortex.com for the past two years and that place is huge. I'm usually in the CAR LOUNGE and topics there go like crazy.
About pelican... they have great NA info and i LOVE pelican search!!!!
i researched a lot of 944 information at Pelican. I'm not a registered member there as i find this forum more mature.
Pelican has a huge 911 forum in contrast where most of the 911 fans live

Rennlist and Pelican are two great boards in two different ways IMHO
Vlad.

I still post there once in a while but this is home.
Same for me, couldn't agree with you more.
