I have 4 used compressors(2 late and 2 early). Is there anyway to test them to see if there good. I think the clutches are good, I can spin them with no noise. I would like to sell them(read cheap), but I would like to also know if they are good or not. Any and all suggestions always welcome.

I'd imagine that you'd have to figure out a way to test it for leaks at pressure and assure that the bearings are in good shape at speed. Sounds like its not too likely. They probably just rebuild them without testing. BTW, I notice that AutoZone loans ac clutch tools.
