Today is National change-your-TPS day
Holy smokes! I just dropped a new TPS into my car and it's like a new car! I didn't realize how badly I needed it until I put this in. Now it revs more eargerly and I can actually hold a non-full boost level when accelerating. She used to surge under part throttle acceleration and not accelerate smoothly unless I was at WOT.
So today is national change your TPS day. Anyone who's car surges, idles high, or doesn't feel like the highly refined automobile it really is should get on top of that sh*t and change it out.
Happy holidays!

Does the DME actually read the exact throttle positon, or just if it's closed, part open or WOT..? I was playing with the thing just a while ago and adjusted it so that it clicks just when the throttle plate closes... what else is there to test? Thanks!

I didnt replace mine on my 944, but did my Quest...get a multi meter and adjust it to the spec the manual wants and your golden If it doenst adjust to that range, get a new one
I dunno the range for a 944, but they may be similar on the quest ...0.48-.0.52 volts at idle, up to 5V at WOT

I didn't do a test on mine as I already had the part and I knew it was bad anyway. It definately reports levels other then closed/open as it's made a big difference across the rev range. I think I probably picked up some lost HP as well, as the car feels a hell of a lot quicker througout the rev range.
