Does anyone know what relay this is for (84')? Ive found online that its for the windows but I used to be able to move it with its wire to get my blower fans to turn on (they no longer do that). If it's not for the blower why was I able to do that?

 

OK. Your car is an ‘84. Where was this relay located? Was it in the relay panel or somewhere else? There is. Another current site here about the location of some of the relays that “float” around in the cabin. Some are on the right side behind the glove box. Most are in the underfoot relay panel. The fog light relay is above the driver’s right foot area and way above the gas pedal. On Clark’s Garage IIRC, these is a diagram as to what relay does what in the relay panel. HTH some.

 

Your power window relay just happened to short out the right pins to get your blower going. Or at least it used to. You should probably just get the right relay for your blower.

 

this was on the left side behind the glove box (rhd). There's a bunch of wires there and I assume a panel should be there.

 

I am not sure where that relay is located. Do you perhaps have a part number or diagram?

 

That explains the number on the relay in the photo. I checked the parts list, and it was not included. The US cars use a different relay. (I believe yours allows window operation with the ignition off until you open a door. In US cars, the windows stop working with the ignition off.) I have no idea where things are in a rhd car.
