Default Selling the wife's 951 - feeler post

Would anyone be interested in buying an 88 951 pre S Silver on Burgendy? Car has 126K miles and is in great mechanical shape. Possibly might go with the race seats or stock seats. Just trying to feel out the interest out there.

There's always interest in a good 951, if it's priced right.

Pictures? Description? Price? Everyone would be interrested at $1, only fools at $30k.

Tifo is right.......next time I see the head pop out over the wall a 9mm is gonig to be screaming over.... J/K She is really wanting a Boxster and if that makes her happy, it makes ME much more happier as we all know, if she isn't happy, noone is happy.

I will have to snap some pics and look for them when I get home. As for price, right now it is up to her. I think she was mentioning around $9k, but is talking to a Vette guy at her school she interprets for as he was looking at it for his daughter.

I would love to see pictures - I'm looking for one. What's the deal with the seats? Be sure to take pictures of both.

Thanks.

Show her this thread...as a gal here, I think the Boxster is BUTT UGLY and slower than the 951!!!

I wouldn't be caught dead driving it.

BUT it's convertable - and that (especially in SoCal) does count for something. They're not THAT bad IMO. Personally I'd like to take a 951 drivetrain and transplant it into a 944S2 Cabrio. THAT would be one phat car.

What about a nice 968 Cab, it may cost more but would give you a matching set!
