My headlights stopped illuminating? Seems like all the post are about going up and down. If I try high beams they won't stay on, but do flash. Is this a fuse or how a bad bulb works? If its a bad bulb why would both be out. Are they in some kind of series?

Is your car early or late? If the lights won’t stay on bright when you push the turn switch stalk forward, it may be your turn switch. You’ll have to pull the steering wheel to get to it as well as the upper and lower steering shaft covers. Be careful with the screws. They go into a zinc (pot metal) housing and are easily stripped . Also be care careful of the spring loaded detent plunger inside the switch. It is easily lost as well as it jumps out of the side of the switch. Pull the wiper switch and the turn switch as a unit and while keeping pressure on both, tape them together. Hope this helps some.

I had something similar. If it’s an early car, check the fuses. The old style fuses tend to get corroded on the posts. Roll them in the box and see if that works. Sometimes you just have to get good metal contact again.
