Hi- I don't know a better place to do this so I'll start here. Is there anyone near Knoxville, TN with an early 944 (or a known working DME for one) that would be willing to let me throw one in my car for a quick start-up? Pretty sure my DME is bad, but they aren't exactly cheap to replace and I'd rather be sure.

If not, is there a better place I should look for this?
Or a cheaper way to test/check/fix a DME that doesn't require microscopes and electrical engineering degrees, etc?
