ECU Box questions
All - I have searched all over for this information but can't find any details.
If I apply 12vdc and ground to the correct pins to an ECU on the bench - what pins should I see/be able to measure activity on with nothing else connected to the box (sensor inputs, etc.)? Alternatively, at what points inside the box (on the circuit boards) should I be able to probe with a meter and ensure that the circuits that send voltage to each chip, component, etc. are getting the correct voltage as it travels around the board.
Thoughts?

This might help (I did a google search for "Bosch Motronic Schematics"):

Page 24 of the document starts to show some information related to what you are looking for.
The DME is a Bosch Motronic system, so you may have more luck for searching by that as opposed to anything Porsche 944 specific. I would think Audi, BMW and Porsche (among others) probably all share a similar system. Further google searching may yield information you are after. Image results show alot of schematic results, so you may have to do some digging.
