Just read the story,

Reminds me of when I was 16, riding with a friend in his 1971 ford p/u

We were sitting on bucket seats that weren't bolted down, seatbets.....what are those?

Very hilly curvy area where his makeshift steering linkage broke doing about 75.

The large tree flattened the carb on top of the motor and broke it loose from the tranny ( we were 3/4 of the way inverted and airborne) a smaller tree knocked the windshield out and in.

The one thing I will always remember is us ending up at least 100 yards from the road down a hill with the back end of the truck sitting in a creek........first thing he does ia try and restart the thing...lmao

luckaly he needed a few stitches from the windshield glass and other than that we just ended up sore.

That was my worst run to go get beer ever
