What's pugging the end of the cam? You didn't break off the socket head bolt did you?

Also: Did you loosen the bolts at each end of the tensioning struts for the PS pump and A/C unit before you de-tensioned them?

 

A pressure washer isn't enough, you have to use a degreaser.

 

I just did a seal job on an 83 last week that made that look fairly clean. A tooth brush and some brake parts cleaner took it right off.
