Arrow Boost enhancer Q's

Hey all,

First let me just say thanks in advance for your help and time, I am Rookie that can barely do an oil change so I really appriciate your help.....

I have a 86 944t and recently had the head rebuilt and is in pertty good running condition. I have authority chips (not installed) and a Lindsey Boost enhancer (not installed).

Here are my Q's/....

What do I need before I can install the chips and B. enhancer?

Do I need some gauges?....... If so wich ones?

Any critical things I need to check in my engine before I can install them?

Any General Information about the chips or Boost enhancer?

Thankx you guys.

you dont NEED gauges at all, if you can afford them, do it, if not, eh ohb well. Gauges is more for when you go MAP/MAF.
head rebuilt means new HG, your engine is in good condition? if you chip it, and its in good condition, your good, if not, you'll be fixing all the stuff that needs fixing and you dont know it.

When you are working with boost, i would say gauges are Extremely necessary. Well, actually, only one: AIR/FUEL RATIO. It should be the first thing you do for your car. It will tell you if u r leaning out and on a boosted app, you might want to kno this. $30 A/F gauge from summitp

$40 Boost gauge if you want that

I second that A/F ratio gauge something nice to have when you chip a car some chips make you run lean in the higher rpms while to rich in low rpms.
