interchange??
Are the distributor cap and rotor from an '88 944S 2.5L interchangable to a '89 944S2 3.0L? I'm having trouble finding a set for the 3.0 and the set I found for a 2.5L looks like it'll work.

PET lists the same part numbers for the cap and rotor for 87-88 S and 89-91 S2.
Cap-928 602 223 00
Rotor-944 602 223 00
So, yes, they are interchangeable.
