Default Passenger window regulator

After several attempts to get all the guides and little wheels into the guides and trying to keep the window glass in the tracks properly, I have come to realize that this assembly was devised by Hannibal’s Lector’s German cousin. IMHO. Thanks

First rule of 944 DIY service, take lots of photographs...

Since you are not complaining about your driver window, remove the driver side door card, and compare the location and fitment of the driver side window regulator and window and make the passenger side do the same. Also, use blue tape to hold the window up while your are wrestling the window regulator into place.

I used HVAC tape to hold it up. This is the third time I have done this. Window is in the tracks, operates smoothly, wheels are in the right place and tracks. New vapor barrier in place. Operates smoothly up and down. Then, while putting on the door card, window decides to jump out of tracks, wheels come out of window guides, and we get to play the game all over again. I even tried holding my mouth differently. Perhaps we can get it right this time. Thanks 😀
