I have the full sized versions availible upon request

(We videotaped the turnover, then took digital stills during the 100,000 mile mark. The video should be availible soon too, keep in mind it was filmed on a track, that looks like a highway)

While it wasn't as she turned 100k old, I think this photo might be somewhat relavant to the thread, or at least add something... anywho... I stubled across this photo on the way back from picking up Lorelei in Kentucky. Hmm must have been shot at a track

Why do you have a lower RPM for a higher speed?

Though I took my dynamics final on tuesday, I'm curious as to how much tread was off compared to yours. Are your tires low on tread?

Looks like you were at 4200rpm at 100 exactly. If this is a prallax error and I'm just getting a bad perspective, let me know... I'll post the treadwear as soon as I finish the calculation

Different gearing, the S2 has a lower 5th gear than the turbo.

Anyways I couldn't take any pics of mine @ 100k as I bought it with 101k, but I do have a picture of 114 at 114k on the I-77 through West Virginia International Raceway.

Think of it this way: you have 100K miles to tweak boost & gearing for 200.

It's a mission.

dmitry:

I KNOW!!! But it's still cool as ****, cause it's MY car!!

FSAE:

I'm running 18's with 225 up front and 285 in the rear, with a smaller tire diameter, you'll run a higher RPM for a lower speed. I guess my wheels slow me down a bit. My car is even FASTER than it already is?!

Correct... I didn't do the calc when I saw this, but didn't have time to reply. What tire brand are you using?
