BTW, pictures are working now and the parts look GREAT.
Cheers
But they would look "greater" if they were anodized sexy red like the Racer's Edge products. However, those are double the price (and new stock parts are double that price at about $835 a set of four), so these do look like a particularly good deal. I'm worried about more noise, harshness and vibration in a car driven on the street though since I assume Porsche put rubber in there for a reason. We really could use more feedback on the noise consideration.

Reason: Add information
Hi Gents, it's me behind developing and producing these carriers. Just found my account and I'm posting my first post on Rennlist
I'll try my best to write in understandable English, but I'm not a native nor I do have knowledge of technical terms on a PhD. level ;-)
I will try to answer some of the questions above:
1. Noise - myself I haven't noticed anything that would make the car more noisy. In general what it does it connects the torsion tube to the body with a solid link. I.e. in 911s this tube is welded to the chassis. The suspension alone would work as intended, therefore I'd not expect any more vibrations or so to happen, as it's the role of the suspension (torsion bars, TCAs, shocks, etc.) to take all of the bumps and create the comfort.
2. What it does - as stated above, this set connects the torsion tube to the chassis with a solid link. It looks cool, and costs a fraction of a set of new metal-rubber carriers as Tom Pultz noticed. Porsche used such carriers in 944 Turbo Cup - why? I'd make an educated guess, that it allows the car to respond better to the driver, especially when cornering. The billet carriers are also slightly lighter than the stock ones.
3. The bling bling factor, aren't they sexy enough? I chose an alloy (5083) that is resistant to corrosion and very durable (it's used in the marine market widely), as an engineer I was not thinking about making them sexiest in the market. I may consider anodizing few sets later if you want to pay more for that. Personally I like the raw CNC marks, but it's me. And as these are made from 5083 the anodizing is not that much needed to protect from corrosion.
4. The idea for the mounts came to me by reading this: https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...p-cars-34.html
And I do appreciate you like the mounts, especially those guys who decided to order these sets from me (this allows me to develop other nice stuff, as somewhat self finances the process for me).
THEY CAME!
Konrad, my compliments on your attention to detail.
Beautiful radiuses on the parts. No rough edges. Hardware is all zinc coated steel 8.8 hardened. Studs in the lower hangers are secured with loctite into helicoils so no corrosion between the aluminum and the fasteners.

I'm glad you like them and these arrived to you quickly :-)
Thank you for a review, hope this will help others if they're interested but need more faith
I still have few sets available from this batch, so if anyone needs them or just wants them drop me an email at konrad@bearsgarage.pl
Dang. I wish I'd have known that anodizing was going to be an option, or I would have opted for it in black for an incognito look. Nevertheless, the units I received look excellent, just like MG944's. Shipping was quick and easy. Thanks Konrad.

Seems my engineering common sense is not realistic and even though you’ll not see the part unless under the car, it should be colorful? Well black is also a color 😁
So Tom, don’t be worried, it will get dirty anyway and you will quickly forget about it after install ;-)
I value the feedback you give me, this should allow me to make parts more eye catching, or just better.
I left one set at this anodizing company just to check their work and results. Asked for Copper Orange - should have it back next Friday. As this is 120 miles away and I’ll be there for other reasons as well that day I could bring the remaining sets and ask to make them in color, but need at least 2-3 more “orders” in color to do it and invest in anodizing of the ones that would remain.
Having said that if anyone is interested in the set in one of the above colors, make your vote. I’ll start with myself ;-) If you don’t want to buy, but just share your color of preference, please do so. I’ll count the votes and anodize half of the sets I have in the color that’ll get most votes and put them on the shelf
I just installed these last night. Beautifully done - also I love the packaging you used (80s 911 drawing poster) - the stock mounts were hilariously failed.
