1) Bad Grounds
2) Bad/worn brushes on the voltage regulator
3) Improper belt and or tension on alternator
4) Bad grounds
5) Really old crappy battery cables

Just my experience. I seem to have sorted out most of my electrical issues and "I ain't no electrician" . It just takes time and contortionist skills to get to some of the stuff.

Battery tends to become very weak and won't turn over, as if the battery was dead. I'll get a slow crank 2 - 3 times then not have anymore power. I have replaced MANY batteries. Once it was thought that my motor for the hatch release was stuck on and was causing a drain. it was disabled and the problem went away for a while. another time the Alternators brushes were supposed to be the issue. i had this corrected, and the problem resovled for a short time. but soon again it would return.

Some interesting conversations going around here. I have been out of the loop for a few days. I can interview the girls for the business.

Decided to bleed the clutch slave when bleeding the brakes past weekend and that has been a nightmare. Its still not done. The clutch pedal still doesn't come back up. But we have been able to determine that neither the master or slave cylinder have failed. Only explanation I can come up with is some air still trapped somewhere. Pressure bleeding with the rear of the car as high as we can get, is the next step. Hopefully that will fix it.

I'm coming on the 16th.

Should I buy the t-belt just in the case it is bad?
