Wow, is there any glass even broken? I'm glad I have a 944 now, they're actually pretty safe cars. That is defenitly repairable from the looks of it, but I don't know about frame damage like rwodabek said.

So that's what SUVs are good for. Unbelievable. How old was the driver?

I know 944s are sexy but that SUV really needs to restrain itself! Dumb *** driver for sure. Did you say Saturday morning? Maybe an all night party had something to do with it.
What would shipping be for your wheels? Just kidding.

Woah, sucks to see that. Have fun with the Z! warranties are something Ive never had the pleasure of dealing with.

One quick question..on your right side tailight, the turn signal lens on the far right looks to be intact but clear, is it intact or is it knocked out and Im just seeing things?

Hey guys,

I still don't know how the driver did it, as you said, must have been sitting on the accelerator for sometime!!

The suspension on the car seemed to be completely gone as well. I saw them roll it off the back of the tow truck onto the road and the body just dropped to the ground like it didn't even had springs.

It held up very well, I definitely have a lot of confidence in porsche convertibles now, the car was sitting on the windscreen for at least an hour and it had only cracked around where the tyre was sitting.
The smash repairer said it was a definite write off, I think it had a lot to do with the mechanics of the roof. They were totally stuffed and apparantley they can be quite expensive to fix.

As for the clear lights, it was just the red lens knocked off, although I gotta say it does look quite good with the clear!!
