Default Selling my Silver Rose 951S

If anyone is interested, I am selling my Silver Rose Turbo "S". Car has 79,500 miles on it and has been pampered everyday. She only gets Mobile One, only gets waxed by Zaino products and never sees foul weather.

Car has a weltmeister chip installed but buyer will also receive the stock chip. K&N cone filter, LBE, Bursch Test Pipe(buyer also gets cat. converter). Also, car has $2500 Alpine CD system including Alpine Amplifier professionally installed in the rear hatch cubby hole.

Car runs 100%, very very strong and quick. All original paint and is in excellent condition. Interior is the burgandy plaid and is in pristine shape with no tears or cracks anywhere. Car has really been cared for by a Porsche fanatic and will be evident upon inspection. People never believe me when I tell them its a 1988 model!!

I have full documentation of service records including recent water pump, timing belt, and full front seal replacements. Also, have original sticker.

I haven't used the car as much in past year and half due to my first son being born and am looking to buy a 996(much larger rear seat space for child seat). I can tell you that I've been looking for 996's in the past month and driven a few already and they don't give me near the satisfaction this car does when I hit the gas. I figure driving any P-car is better than one sitting in the garage!

I have not listed the car as of yet on autotrader but will be doing so in coming weeks. I am listing it for $19,500.

I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and I have plenty of photos if you want to see them.

IMO, it seems tad pricey -- but then Silver Rose is getting harder to come by. Good luck with your sale!

Only downfall I can see is the D90's vs. club sports that came with the car...

Substract some $$ for that...

Odd. The top pic of the right side shows D-90's while the lower pic of the left side shows Clubsports.
Explanation?

The Clubsport spokes are flush with the edge of the rim. The D-90 spokes are not.

It looks like a very nice car.

Some constructive criticism, given that you're asking top dollar for it:

1. Stock Club Sport wheels missing, as has been mentioned.
2. Do you have original air box?
3. LBE - purists looking for stock condition cars don't like this.
4. Replace the coolant tank and fit an OE cap. It will really dress up the engine compartment.
5. Same for spark plug wires.
6. Passenger side quarter panel stone guard is darker than driver side. You may want to replace it to make them match.

Good luck with the sale!

Pete, I think it's just the lighting. In both pics they look like D90s to me.
