if everyone raves about the M030 setup, wouldn't that indicate others have had experience with bias problems also?
what was the reason for changing from the stock setup in the first place? heat soak?

No. Standalone abs has EBV - electronic brake proportioning. It monitors input pressure and modulates output pressures per wheel.

You'd think so, yes. Reason was pursuit of "better braking - wow M030 is soo good!!!" and pad longevity.
