Lindsey Racing 993 BBK Wheel Size Requirements
Hi everyone,
I have a 1986 944 turbo and the time has come to upgrade wheels & brakes. To fit the new brakes, I must first get new wheels (currently running 16" phone dials at the track). A member here is selling a set of wheels that I am considering purchasing. I am wondering if anyone can chime in to confirm if the below specs will fit the Lindsey BBK. I wish I could try the wheels myself but they're in Texas and I'm in Canada. Any insight is appreciated.
F - 17 x 8, et60 (owner runs a 15mm spacer with these and so would I)
R - 17 x 9.5, et27
P.S. I have reached out to Dave, Mike and customer service at Lindsey but haven't been able to get a response.
Thank you,

In the long run you would be better off changing the front suspension to the late offset, which includes stronger spindles. If those are genuine Porsche wheels it may depend on design, but I think they may fit. I currently have 17" 996 twist on my '89 turbo and there appears to be enough clearance to fit the larger big reds, although I have 18s I will install when that change happens.
