Angry What is this Wire? 1987 924S



So what is this wire under the dash that is not connected to anything? No one had been under there? I was going under dash swapping DME to test if this is the problem with my no start condition and see this hanging. Is this supposed to be attached to something and where? On initial look cant see where it would go, Sensor? 2nd picture is a close up of where it is coming from.

I don't have the wiring diagram in front of me at the moment, nor am I 100% confident in this answer because I'm mostly familiar with early 944's, but... I'll give it a shot just to test my knowledge. If someone else knows exactly, PLEASE correct me.

I believe it is the connector to the altitude sensor.
